60th Annual Chair’s Dinner

Dec 16 2014

An audience of 450 guests sat riveted as CBC News chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge delivered his keynote address at the 60th Annual Chair’s Dinner hosted by the Oakville Chamber of Commerce this past September. With his baritone voice and commanding presence, the news veteran shared personal stories of past interviews with impressive leaders, including his favourite — a chat with U.S. President Barack Obama just weeks after he first took office. Held at the Oakville Conference Centre, the Dinner celebrated the remarkable leadership of Chamber chair Orla Johnston while welcoming new chair Kerry Colborne, who has served as the director of the board since 2008.
