For more than three decades, the Di Santo name has been synonymous with romance, craftsmanship, and some of bridal fashion’s most coveted designs.

Now, a new chapter unfolds as Veronica Di Santo officially introduces V by Veronica Di Santo, a collection that reflects her distinct creative vision while honouring the legacy she has helped build since 1998 alongside her mother, acclaimed bridal designer Ines Di Santo.
Fresh from the début of the Spring/Summer 2027 collection at New York Bridal Fashion Week, Veronica’s entrance into the spotlight marks a defining moment for the next generation of the brand. Inspired by contemporary culture, modern femininity, and the evolving desires of today’s bride, V by Veronica Di Santo offers a fresh perspective on bridal dressing — one that embraces confidence, individuality, and fashion-forward design.
In this conversation, Veronica reflects on launching her namesake label, presenting her first collection on the runway, and balancing the excitement of forging her own path while carrying forward one of bridal fashion’s most enduring legacies.

Q: What made you decide it was time to enter the bridal industry and show your very own collection alongside your mother Ines Di Santo?
A: About 10 years after launching Ines by Ines Di Santo, we felt it was time for a rebrand — an opportunity to reframe and reimagine the collection for a new generation of brides. V felt like the natural evolution: a fresh expression of the brand that reflects my perspective while connecting with the emerging bride in a more modern and meaningful way.
Q: If you had to describe your inspiration and design codes behind this Spring collection, what would they be?
A: This collection was inspired by the movement of water and the delicate drift of florals across the surface of Water Lilies by Claude Monet. Some of the design codes are sheer layers, soft structure, and modern fabrications with unexpected details, high slits and plunging backs.
Q: Describe your creative process to us. How do your designs take shape from an idea to reality?
A: First we begin with a concept and idea that becomes our inspiration — this is how we begin to define the emotion of a collection and the particular spirit and energy of the collection. Our mood boards help to define the silhouettes, the fabric direction, colour palette, textures, style references and tone of the collection.

Q: Give us some insight into how your background influences design choices and your creative vision.
A: My background, influences, and design choices are deeply shaped by popular culture and evolving contemporary trends for our V Collection. I am constantly inspired by what is happening in fashion, art, music, film, and the way women express themselves today.
Q: What are your hopes for future V by Veronica Di Santo Collections? Is there anything you are particularly excited about exploring that maybe has not been done before?
A: I’m very excited to connect with this emerging bride in a fresh new way. I’m inspired to explore innovative digital ways to communicate and interact with our brides, creating a more immersive and meaningful connection with them. Beyond fashion, I’m excited to expand into new and unexpected avenues that reflect her lifestyle, aspiration, and evolving world.
Q: What does it take to put together a full collection for each season? How do you navigate deadlines and customer demands?
A: It takes an incredibly talented team of passionate individuals working in harmony to meet tight deadlines and bring the collection to life. Once a collection is presented, we immediately enter the design development and production phase, where every detail is carefully refined to meet lead times, technical requirements, and the overall vision of the collection. Collaboration across every department is essential in bringing each gown to life while maintaining the level of craftsmanship and artistry our brides expect.

Q: How does V by Veronica Di Santo visually differentiate from Ines Di Santo designs? What style choices make the two brands unique in their own ways and what similarities do you see between them?
A: The V bride is a fashion-forward, sexy young woman who is deeply connected to current trends and completely unapologetic in her design choices. She is confident, bold, and embraces individuality through fashion. The Ines Di Santo bride, on the other hand, is drawn to couture craftsmanship and embodies sophistication, elegance, and understated glamour. They both share the same appreciation for design, fit and construction.
