Kimi Antonelli Claims Victory at the Formula 1® Lenovo Grand Prix Du Canada 2026

The Formula 1® Lenovo Grand Prix Du Canada 2026 was full of adrenaline and speed this weekend on Notre Dame Island in Montreal, Quebec. Kimi Antonelli claimed victory for the fourth time in the 2026 Grand Prix season. The Mercedes driver now holds a total of eight podium finishes in his Formula 1 career since his 2025 rookie season debut.

Louis Vuitton has continued to be an Official Partner of Formula 1, presenting the title trophy in the coveted Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. This marks the second racing season in partnership with the luxury fashion house, renowned for its specially designed trunks created to protect and showcase the Formula 1 trophy. The trophy trunk was present for several key moments over the race weekend, and on the podium during the trophy presentation where Antonelli accepted his victory — reinforcing Louis Vuitton’s dedication to savoir-faire and embodying the belief that “Victory travels in Louis Vuitton.”

To honour the significance of something as important as a Grand Prix title, Louis Vuitton introduced a new house element that is now signature to its Formula 1 Trophy Trunks — a Victory patch. This addition is a subtle yet powerful reminder that every victory contributes to a lasting legacy. Inspired by traditional travel badges and destination stickers, it is importantly marked with the winner’s initials, each patch honours the history of every Grand Prix and celebrates the driver who shaped it. After crossing the finish line, Antonelli’s initials were added alongside those of George Russel, winner of the Formula 1 Pirelli Grand Prix Du Canada 2025.

The partnership between F1 and Louis Vuitton also means a prominent creative feature across track signage, fan sections and various barriers of the Montreal circuit, including a specially designed Louis Vuitton signature to commemorate the Official Partnership between Formula 1 and the House.

Over the Maison’s history, Louis Vuitton has built a repertoire synonymous with only the finest of life’s luxuries, with precious sporting artifacts and trophies belonging to world-class athletes entrusted to its exceptional craftsmanship and care. Perpetuating this storied legacy, the Maison continues to create bespoke trunks designed to transport and showcase trophies for some of the world’s most emblematic sporting competitions and awards. Each creation stands as both a celebration of athletic excellence and a testament to Louis Vuitton’s enduring dedication to artistry, innovation and savoir-faire. Since its first partnership with the America’s Cup in 1983, the Maison has joined forces with some of the most prestigious global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup, Davis Cup, Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco, Ballon d’Or, Rugby World Cup, Olympic Paralympic Games Paris, Australian Open and more … continuing to affirm its celebrated philosophy that “Victory Travels in Vuitton.”
