FENDI Womenswear: Spring-Summer 2025

Oct 16 2024

Celebrating a century of FENDI fashion, innovation, and legacy.
The year 1925 marks the founding of the iconic Italian brand — 100 years of celebrating its global impact on the foundations of fashion.

Fendi’s Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 collection looks both forward and back to Fendi’s history, extolling practicality and celebration, the archetypal and the iconoclastic. More importantly, it is a collection that has been specifically crafted for women who do rather than merely exist — a testament to the house’s founder, Adele Fendi.

What many do not know is that the fashion house quickly became women-owned. By 1947, Adele’s five daughters led the brand, each owning a 20% stake and being recognized for implementing modernism in dress, design, decoration, and thought, as well as for expanding into accessories.

Bringing together the ready-to-wear and couture worlds Fendi, the hand- and machine-made, evening and daywear, Fendi proudly showcases supremely detailed and expertly crafted embroideries, all delicately placed on archetypal forms such as tees and simple slips in silk and organza. The finest suedes and shearlings effortlessly and elegantly adorn the wearer. Finally, there are the silk tea dresses and swirling dancer’s slips that never seem to go out of style.

“Quality is the number one point besides the beauty of design,” says Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear and Adele’s granddaughter. “I am always thinking about the connection between fashion and time — I think quality is the defining feature. It is the timeless testament to what has been achieved in our hundred- year history. As the founder of Fendi it was also my grandmother Adele’s obsession, both personally and professionally: quality.”
