Toronto’s most glamorous charity gala gathered over 1,000 supporters for an unforgettable night of fashion, fine dining and generosity.
The 29th edition of Bloor Street Entertains was a huge success this year. The event brought over 1,000 of CANFAR’s supporters together for a special evening of fashion, food, fun and charity. This year, they raised an extraordinary $1.47 million, which goes toward their investments in HIV/AIDS research, national awareness programs and community-led implementation projects. Guests enjoyed cocktail receptions and seated dinners at fashionable venues throughout the Bloor-Yorkville area that included Brunello Cucinelli, Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen and Saint Laurent. An evening of spectacular entertainment followed with dancing and performances at the official after-party at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.
Over at the after-party, the Mantella Red Carpet welcomed guests to another beautifully designed experience by Aragon Cruz and ESP Inc. The after-party host, Gigi Gorgeous, kept the crowd excited as she introduced DJs Manzone & Strong, DJ Karim Olen Ash and singer/saxophonist JB Saxx, all of whom helped send the energy through the roof. Guests captured the glamour at SpaMedica’s photo booth and in Nancy Kim’s portrait studio, while cocktails from Maverick Distillery and wines from Mark Anthony and Noble Estates flowed well into the night.
Bloor Street Entertains proves once again that the astonishing impact of collective generosity, with less than $30,000 left to reach its determined $1.5 million, can stretch to meet its goal. With 2025 being its 29th year, the gala remains CANFAR’s most crucial fundraiser, fuelling groundbreaking HIV research, national awareness efforts and community-led programs across the country.
