In celebration of Lunar New Year 2026 and the arrival of the Year of the Horse, Hennessy introduces a collection of limited-edition releases. Featuring Hennessy V.S.O.P and Hennessy X.O, available in Canada, each bottle is adorned with a striking interpretation of the horse — an enduring emblem of vitality, movement and freedom.
This year’s design showcases metallic copper tones and deep mineral pigments anchored by a flowing red palette. The galloping horse conveys elegance and strength while symbolizing renewal and forward momentum, capturing the optimism that defines the Year of the Horse. Inspired by principles rooted in East Asian philosophy, the artwork reflects themes of perspective, energy and possibility, inviting personal interpretation through sculpted forms and open space.
Hennessy’s relationship with Asia dates back to 1859, when the maison first shipped 12 crates of Old Pale Cognac to China. Since then, key milestones — from the introduction of Hennessy X.O in 1872 to the arrival of the “Spirit of Hennessy” in Shanghai in 1992 and the cultural journey of the Hennessy X.O Silk Road in 2017 — have reinforced a shared commitment to tradition, innovation and artistry. Each release stands as a tribute to this enduring connection.
