Cartier’s new collection, “Le Chœur des Pierres,” is pure excellence and a promise to eternity.
When thinking of a premium jewellery legacy with purity, elegance and precision, the first name that comes to mind is Cartier. Since 1847, the brand has thrived with one idea: “At Cartier, everything starts with a stone.”
With its latest collection, “Le Chœur des Pierres,” the brand pays tribute to gemstones where each stone tells a unique story. From shape to design, each element adds a distinct dimension to the gemstones, providing them with space to express themselves.
Says Jacqueline Karachi-Langane, Director of High Jewellery Creation, of this collection, “Letting a stone speak is to recognise in it a memory of the world, a beauty shaped by time and imbued with eternity. Each gemstone is an encounter, an alchemy that resonates with our vision and our quest for the Cartier ideal. The creation serves the stone, revealing its nuances, its brilliance, its sparkle and its inner vibration.”
The collection’s name is a play on two French words that have the same pronunciation, “choeur” (choir) and “coeur” (heart): “Le Choeur des Pierres” means “The Chorus of Stones” but also alludes to the gems’ heart — that is, their essence or spirit.
With more than 150 unique pieces in the collection, the jewellers outdid themselves to create the beauty of each piece. For instance, Tutti Kanya highlights a stunning 30.33-carat carved emerald from Zambia, and the Pyra earring is a modern take on an early 20th-century tiara.
From different materials to unique designs, each piece is extraordinary and celebrates emotion through gemstones. This collection undoubtedly tells a profound story of Cartier’s excellence.
