Q: What was the inspiration behind your Spring and Summer collection?
A: The freedom of being. Of existing. The beauty inside and out of the Nadya Toto woman.
Q: Which fabrics did you choose to work with this season?
A: Sustainable and certified fabrics that feel good and are better for our planet.
Q: How has your brand evolved over the years?
A: Evolution is every day. We edit and focus on the best pieces every season to perfect and re-work them to their best in the dress. We are the Dress. Our evolution equals experience, and today I can say that I am very satisfied with what I have built with my brand, which brings me comfort and passion for what I do every day.
Q: What advice would you give to your 19-year-old self?
A: If you have a dream, follow that dream, and you will become the dream.
Q: What advice would you like to share with young designers?
A: There are many, many designers in the world today. What difference will you bring to this fashion industry if you have your collection? Everything exists. Make a difference, do not copy what is already out there.
Q: Which city resonates most with you because of its unique energy?
A: Como, Italia. Lago di Como. Just walking around the lake, the energy, listening to Ennio Morricone from a distance.
Q: If you could dress anyone in the world, who would it be?
A: Ornella Muti.
Q: How do you define style and elegance?
A: It is how the person’s energy is in synchronicity with the element and refinement of the cloth she or he is wearing. Elegance is a refined and sophisticated aesthetic characterized by grace, simplicity, and timelessness. In one word: simplicity.
Q: How do you define la dolce vita?
A: It is living every day at your best, your own way. Being happy right now with what you have accomplished and being happy with everyone around you. I’m living my dolce vita!
