Prada Acquires Versace For €1.25 Billion, Enhancing Luxury Portfolio
In a landmark deal that reshapes the global luxury fashion market, Prada Group has announced its acquisition of Versace, purchasing 100 per cent of the iconic Italian brand from Capri Holdings for a cash consideration based on an enterprise value of €1.25 billion. The transaction, subject to standard closing adjustments, marks a major expansion of Prada’s high-end fashion portfolio.
