Malea Rose: Glow with VIE EN ROSE

Dec 14 2023

With her passion for skincare, the writer, actress and producer Malea Rose has shifted her focus and is now CEO of Vie En Rose.
Beauty, as we understand it today, comes not only from our appearance but also from within. Our ideas, generosity and passions contribute to what makes us beautiful. However, there has always been a greater emphasis on physical appearance when it comes to matters of beauty, whether it is the length of our eyelashes, the hue of our cheeks or the complexion of our skin.

Former actress Malea Rose, who worked on popular productions like New Girl, Two and A Half Men, Hello Ladies and Entourage, unexpectedly developed skin issues, ranging from allergic reactions and dryness to sensitivity and hyperpigmentation, due to her long days on set and her bustling travel schedule. Rose tried an array of products to get her skin back on track, but nothing seemed to work. There were times when she felt they were making it worse.

So she went back to her roots.

Rose’s passion for and knowledge of the world of skincare was sparked at an early age when she would observe her mother making organic skincare elixirs and other products. So she relied on her mother’s natural method, and, just like that, her skin was properly remedied and glowing. With that, her desire to share her mother’s remedies with the world combined with her entrepreneurial spirit, which was how her female-founded and female-led company, Vie En Rose, was born.

Her brand centres around luxury anti-aging products formulated with high-performance ingredients taken from both science and nature, such as CBD and Cannarose Complex (a formulation exclusive to her brand). Above all, she was determined to develop a product line that is well-suited for all skins while carefully hand-picking ingredients that are vegan-friendly, clean and cruelty-free.

Vie En Rose has been extolled by celebrities including Sydney Sweeney, Tracey Cunningham, Alice Kremelberg, Connie Britton and Paris Hilton, and was such a hit on the set of The White Lotus, Season 2, that she is set to work on special projects for Season 3 of the hit series.

“I love building things. I love dreaming up something that seems impossible and then figuring out how to make it possible. I think that’s why building a brand and storytelling work so beautifully together. I’m an artist at heart, with a business-savvy mind,” says Rose.

Today, the multitalented entrepreneur says she hopes to expand her brand into a full lifestyle brand that serves customers beyond cosmetics and wellness products.
