Toronto’s Shangri-La Hotel was abuzz with prominent leaders like journalist Katie Couric and the Hon. Madame Jean Augustine, who joined honorary chair and gala keynote speaker Madame Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau at the International Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Conference and Gala on March 4-5, 2016. Net proceeds went to Plan International Canada’s Because I Am a Girl global initiative to end gender inequality.
